2.1 Adjustable injector BLACK KNOB
$21.70
2.1 Adjustable injector BLACK KNOB. A downstream chemical injector.
A downstream injector draws cleaning chemical into the water stream after the pump, which is what lets you apply soap through a pressure washer without running chemical through the pump itself. Chemical is drawn by the pressure drop created as water passes through the injector's orifice — which is why downstream injection only works at low pressure, with a soap nozzle installed.
An adjustable injector lets you change the draw ratio on the fly, which is useful when moving between surfaces or jobs that need different chemical concentrations.
Orifice size must match your machine's flow. An injector sized wrong for your GPM either won't draw at all or will draw inconsistently. If your injector has stopped drawing, check the check valve before replacing the injector — a failed check valve is the more common culprit and far cheaper to fix.
Frequently Asked Questions
What flow rate is this injector for? Confirm your machine's GPM against the injector specification before ordering.
Why won't my injector draw chemical? Most often a failed check valve, a clogged filter on the chemical pickup, or using a high-pressure nozzle instead of a soap nozzle. Downstream injection requires low pressure to draw.
Fixed or adjustable? Adjustable — draw ratio can be changed as needed.
