Softwash and chemical hose is built differently than high-pressure hose. It prioritizes chemical resistance and flexibility over pressure rating, which is exactly right for the job — softwash systems run around 300 PSI, and what matters is that the hose survives sodium hypochlorite without degrading.
Don't substitute high-pressure hose for chemical hose or vice versa. High-pressure hose liners often degrade in chlorine service, and chemical hose won't survive pressure washing pressures.
