4G-4MP 1/4" solid hose crimp. A hose crimp fitting, permanently swaged onto hose end to form a pressure-rated connection.
Crimped connections are the standard for high-pressure hose because they don't loosen, don't back off under vibration, and hold rated pressure reliably. Unlike reusable field fittings, a crimp requires a crimping machine with the correct die — this is shop work, not roadside repair.
Match the crimp to both the hose construction (single wire, double wire, thermoplastic) and the hose size. A crimp sized for the wrong hose either won't hold pressure or will damage the hose during swaging.
