Triplex plunger pumps are the standard in commercial pressure washing because they hold pressure consistently over long duty cycles and can be rebuilt rather than replaced when seals and packings eventually wear. That rebuildability is the real economic argument — a pump that can be serviced with a seal kit costs far less over its life than one that gets thrown away.
