Graco inlet strainer 1" 8 mesh
$14.98
Graco inlet strainer 1" 8 mesh. A strainer filters debris from the water supply before it reaches the pump.
Inlet filtration is the cheapest pump protection available. Grit and debris passing through a triplex pump scores cylinders and destroys seals, and the damage is cumulative and irreversible.
Strainers only protect you if they're cleaned on a schedule. A clogged strainer starves the pump, which causes cavitation — and cavitation damage is worse than what the strainer was preventing.
Grime Task Force stocks valves, filters, and control components across the range because these are the parts that protect everything expensive on a rig — and the parts most likely to be the actual cause when a machine starts behaving badly.
